Harvard president backs down on Anti-semitism stance

DailyKenn.com — [transcript]

(0:00) Now you can take this with a grain of salt if you want, but it's just my opinion and my opinion is of this woman (0:08) whose image is on the screen is probably (0:13) an affirmative action hype. No, I don't know that. She could be brilliant (0:16) She could be the most brilliant person on the planet. Maybe the most (0:21) intelligent person who ever lived as far as I know, but I don't know (0:25) So I'm just saying this is my opinion you can dismiss it if you want. Her name is (0:32) Claudine Gay. I don't know what her pronoun is (0:36) but I can take a look at her haircut and (0:40) question whether or not she is confused about her pronoun.

I don't know, but she is the president of Harvard University (0:50) That's why I say I think she is a affirmative action higher but again, I don't know (0:56) But (0:57) The reason we're talking about this story (1:00) is that she apologized over her answers at an anti-Semitism hearing in Congress. (1:11)

100 million dollars (1:14) That is a donation that was pledged to the University of Pennsylvania (1:22) and (1:23) the person who pledged ...Who has a hundred million dollars to give away?! I don't know but the person who pledged 100 million dollars (1:32) reportedly (1:34) reversed his decision and the school lost a (1:39) hundred million dollars because (1:42) the president of that school. (1:46) and (1:46)

This is just my opinion. You can take it with another grain of salt (1:51) But it is my opinion that this woman (1:57) Liz McGill who is the president of the school (2:04) is an affirmative action hire and (2:08) because of her lack of enthusiasm in expressing (2:13) anti-Semitism the report says that, (2:18) yeah, the school lost a hundred million (2:23) dollars (2:27)

Why it matters: Some lawmakers str already calling for (2:34) taking action (2:36)by urging three presidents to resign. Fat chance. That's not gonna happen (2:44) You don't fire affirmative action hires (2:49) hirees whatever you want to call them (2:52)

But here's my takeaway from this (2:56) My opinion is it's their fight and by their (3:03) I'm speaking of these people in the Middle East; these Middle East countries. It's their fight.

We should stay out of it (3:15) Now if they kidnap Americans (3:18) Let's do what we have to do to get them back, but let's don't go to war over it (3:22) I think it's silly to send our troops. We used to say send our men to be killed in combat (3:29) Now we say our troops because they include women in combat.

I (3:36) Think it's kind of silly to send young people to die (3:40) by the hundreds maybe thousands (3:43) when there are alternate (3:45) Okay, alternate alternatives; (3:48) redundant, but it gets the thought across (3:51) Just my opinion. It's their fight (3:56) And not only should we stay out of it (3:59) but we should not import it into our country. Am I talking about immigration? I (4:07) Think we need to have reasonable, (4:10) logical (4:12) immigration policies (4:13) Do you agree with that? I think everyone agrees with that.

Well, I think and again, this is just my opinion; (4:24) one more grain of salt (4:27) But I think the idea of allowing people to (4:31) climb over a wall (4:35) as uninvited guests and allow them to stay here (4:40) under the auspices of (4:45) seeking (4:47) refugee status (4:50) is a bad idea (4:52) We need to think of the integrity of our country. That's one more thought you can take with a grain of salt (4:58) We're now up to four. Keep this going. We'll have a little shaker full.

I (5:03) think it's a really bad idea to allow these people who climb over the wall uninvited (5:08) to serve in the military (5:11) It just seems to me that (5:14) if you're gonna serve in the American military you should be loyal to (5:22) America (5:23) And I'm not sure these people are. And just taking an oath? I mean, you know, they're dishonest (5:29) They came in the country illegally.

So just taking an oath (5:32)isn't going to get it because we already know (5:37) they're really not honest people at least to the extent that they (5:41) violated the principle of climbing over a wall uninvited to come into our country (5:46) But again, that's my opinion (5:48) You have your opinion and I'd kind of like to know what it is (5:51) You know, I think some other people also would like to know so you can leave your opinion (5:57) in the comment section before (5:59) And you're invited to subscribe to our YouTube channel (6:03)
