DailyKenn.com — Irking President Donald Trump may have consequences. That is a lesson being learned by Alaska's U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski (R) and may be a warning to other Republicans who have disembarked from the Trump train.
Murkowski was one of seven Republicans who voted to convict Trump during the recent Senate impeachment trial.
Trump said he planned to visit Alaska to help defeat Murkowski in the 2022 election.
In a statement to POLITICO on Saturday, Trump said: “I will not be endorsing, under any circumstances, the failed candidate from the great State of Alaska, Lisa Murkowski. She represents her state badly and her country even worse. I do not know where other people will be next year, but I know where I will be — in Alaska campaigning against a disloyal and very bad Senator.”
