DailyKenn.com — Scott McMillon is the name of the FBI's first Chief Diversity Officer.
The announcement of McMillon's appointment was made by FBI Director, Christopher Wray.
Take aways...
• According to Wray, the FBI workforce will reflect all communities. If true, we can expect the composition of the FBI workforce to be 51 percent women, 13 percent black, 17 percent Hispanic, and 6.5 percent Asians. We can also expect to find a significant smattering of Muslims, Sikh Indians, American Indians, Amish, and small number of Agents named Da Qua, Tonya, Elmo, and Bre’On.
The point is this: Creating a workforce that accurately mirrors society is impossible and nearly always impractical.
It seems reasonable that any workforce should be comprised of the most qualified individuals for the jobs. Mirroring communities ethnic, racial, and gender mix should not be a priority.
Imagine if health care institutions hired surgeons based using the equity method. Do you want Da Qua, Tonya, Elmo, and Bre’On performing surgery on you?
• It seems the intention is to destroy Western culture by the fracturing effect caused by extreme diversity.
• While institutions busy themselves calibrating their workforces to reflect society's racial makeup, they simultaneously are prioritizing eliminating those with patriotic and anti-Marxist views by mislabeling them "white supremacists" even if they are not white.
“As our chief diversity officer, Scott is the right person to ensure that the FBI fosters a culture of diversity and inclusion, and that our workforce reflects all the communities we serve,” Director Wray said. “I’m grateful he has agreed to bring his talent, experience, and dedication to our Office of Diversity and Inclusion, where he will build upon the important work that others started.”
Mr. McMillion has served for several years as the chair of the Black Affairs Diversity Committee, which helps the Office of Diversity and Inclusion to advance objectives that affect African American employees and enhance minority recruitment, employment, and retention at FBI.
