24-year-old Elias Smith was arrested after the incident.
Reports say the victim was attending a family Father's Day gathering after which an argument with neighbors ensued. Smith allegedly shot Keys from his home nearby.

Investigators said Keys and his wife were attending a Father's Day party at a family member's home. As they left, police said a neighborhood argument occurred and several people pulled out guns.
The suspect, 24-year-old Elias Smith, heard the argument and fired several shots at Keys from his home, killing him. Columbus Police arrested Smith and charged him with murder.
This was the 93rd homicide in Columbus this year.
