Grad student Angela Marina Risi killed in North Carolina

DailyKenn.com — Duke University graduate student Angela Marina Risi, 30, was fatally shot in Durham, NC.

Stephon Richard Dubose, 30, was charged with first-degree murder.

Risi was shot in her home. Though described as friends, little backstory was provided about the apparent murder.

Neighbor Daniela Rangel was quoted as saying, “I think it’s incredibly sad how desensitized I’ve personally become to things like this.”

Such is life in America's urban jungles where savage behavior is undeterred by the presence of police.

“I see police cars everywhere and I don’t see a decrease in these type of incidents," Rangle added.
