DailyKenn.com — Wilmer Monette, 76, was fatally shot in Benton, LA.
Destiny Landers, 23, and Delandra Fleming, 22, were arrested.
Detectives reported that the elderly man had just arrived home and exited his vehicle when a male in a black hoodie approached and shot him several times in the upper body.
Neighbors attempted to save the man's life but were unsuccessful; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
