Reports say the victim was found dead in a home after a police received a welfare check call.

to a press release, officers responded to a welfare check at 11:30 A.M.
this morning and found 27-year-old Jennifer Garrett dead inside her
home. Her boyfriend, Travis Turner, was arrested for the alleged murder
and booked into the Bi-State Criminal Justice Building. The body has
been sent to Dallas for an autopsy.
