23-year-old Everett Beauregard was fatally shot near Drexel University in Philadelphia.

Beauregard was a recent graduate of Temple University and had plans to further his education.

Reports say the victim was shot three times at close range, suggesting an attempted robbery, but a surveillance video of the shooting suggests the victim may have simply been shot at random, possibly because he was White.

The video reveals a lankly male walking with a gate and behind-the-buttocks hand swing typical of young black males.

Such violence is common in Philadelphia's urban jungle.

In Baton Rouge, LA, 21-year-old Allison Rice was fatally shot.

She was shot and killed at a railroad crossing in the city's urban jungle.

Dailymail.co.uk reported the victim was eating fries when multiple shots riddled her car.

Rice was studying marketing at Louisiana State University and was a former high school cheerleader.

Her death is another example of the danger of travelling while White.
