DailyKenn.com — Deputy Sheriff Greg McCowan, 43, was shot and killed while initiating a traffic stop in Maryville, TN.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a Blue Alert for Kenneth Wayne DeHart, 42, and added him to the TBI’s Most Wanted list.
22-year-old Deputy Shelby Eggers, a policewoman, was wounded.
A manhunt is underway for DeHart.
He is described as "armed and dangerous" and as a "black man with black hair and brown eyes who stands at 6-feet tall and weighs 260 pounds."
Marcus Erving DeHart, the suspect's brother, was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact, according to thedailytimes.com.
