DailyKenn.com — 38-year-old Christopher Ryan Martin was fatally shot at a Chickasaw, AL motel.
Cornelius Lavette Smith, 48, was arrested.
Martin was discovered deceased in a M Star Hotel room prompting a response from the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office. The Chickasaw Police Department sought assistance in the investigation. Deputies arrived at the on West Lee Street and proceeded to room 235.
Smith was apprehended at the Island View Casino in Gulfport, Mississippi. He was subsequently arrested and charged with murder.
