Premier Steven Miles expressed the gravity of the crime, echoing police sentiments and assuring that the authorities are treating the matter seriously. Flowers have been laid at the scene in remembrance of the victim.
Local resident Shannon Williams expressed shock and concern, highlighting previous instances of women being targeted in the area. The community is grappling with the tragedy, emphasizing the need for swift justice.
