I find it interesting that the woke left follows trends. As already noted, they were demanding that police departments be defunded. That trend was discarded when Donald Trump became president.
The woke left seized the women's movement, then discarded that trend for another oppressed class: men pretending to be women (or, trans women). Real-life feminists like J.K. Rowling were nonplussed. Imagine that! Feminists want to conserve women's sports, making genuine feminists conservatives; at least on that front.
The woke left rode the anti-anti-semitism trend until ranting about Israel laying Gaza waste. Then, poof! The "anti-fascist" left is anti-Israel.
The woke left is downright giddy about The Handmaid's Tale, a novel-turned-Hulu series depicting women as subservient to men. Oddly, the same leftists have no problem defending Islam that, without exception, makes the fictitious white Handmaid's males appear to be outright women's libbers.
When I was a teen, the woke left trend was fighting overpopulation due to environmental concerns. That trend has been thrown under the bus and replaced with mass immigration.
With Joe Biden fogging mirrors for the foreseeable future, the woke left is denied the joy of vilifying President Trump as a man with dementia and, instead, demeans him with the "king" calumny. I don't think they thought that one through.
