When people groups meet, they mate. Iceland, for example, ranks #1 among countries (and specifically European countries) with the highest percentage of white/European ethnic population, often estimated at ~99.8%. However, a rare Native American mitochondrial lineage (C1e) is still present in a small number of Icelanders. This is likely due to a sole Indian woman being brought from Vinland to Iceland 1,000 years ago.

The Vikings met American Indians and they mated.

Many believe the woke left’s true intent is to dilute — some say pollute — white countries with a flood of non-white migrants disguised as refugees. The intent seems to be to create an admixture that will, in time, erase the Caucasian race. (Some Christian fundamentalists believe that Satan hates the White race, viewing it as God’s chosen people to spread the Gospel worldwide.)

I've divided the following content into three sections. The first explores the trace American Indian DNA found in Iceland. The second highlights the whitest countries that appear to be successfully resisting large-scale non-white immigration. The third explains why it matters.

Iceland's American Indian heritage (Part 1)

In the isolated population of Iceland, a surprising genetic discovery has linked modern Europeans to the indigenous peoples of North America—centuries before Christopher Columbus set sail. Researchers at deCODE Genetics in Reykjavik identified a rare mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) lineage known as C1e in a small number of Icelanders. This finding, published in 2011 in the American Journal of Physical Anthropology, offers intriguing evidence of pre-Columbian transatlantic contact during the Viking Age.

Mitochondrial DNA is passed exclusively from mothers to their children, making it a powerful tool for tracing maternal lineages. The study found C1e in approximately 80 living Icelanders, all descending from four distinct matrilineal family lines. Genealogical records trace these lines to women born in southern Iceland around 1700–1740. However, genetic analysis indicates the lineage entered the Icelandic gene pool much earlier—likely centuries before 1700, with the most probable arrival around the year 1000 AD.

Haplogroup C1 is one of the founding lineages involved in the ancient peopling of the Americas roughly 14,000 years ago. It splits into well-known subclades: C1a in East Asia, and C1b, C1c, and C1d primarily among Native Americans. The Icelandic version, however, forms its own distinct branch—C1e—set apart by unique mutations. While an Asian or even rare European origin cannot be entirely ruled out, a Native American source is considered most likely by the researchers.

This timing aligns perfectly with Norse exploration of North America. Around 1000 AD, Vikings led by Leif Erikson established a short-lived settlement at L'Anse aux Meadows in Newfoundland, known in sagas as Vinland. The Icelandic Sagas describe encounters with indigenous "Skrælings." One plausible scenario is that a Native American woman—possibly captured, adopted, or traveling voluntarily—returned with Norse explorers to Greenland or Iceland, integrated into society, and had children. Her maternal descendants carried the C1e marker forward through Iceland's small, relatively isolated population.

Despite this fascinating link, the overall genetic impact remains minimal. Ethnic Icelanders are primarily of Norse Scandinavian and Gaelic (Irish/Scottish) descent, shaped by founder effects and genetic drift. The C1e lineage represents just one maternal line among thousands of ancestors for its carriers and shows no broad autosomal (overall) Native American admixture in the population.

This discovery adds a human dimension to Viking sagas and archaeological evidence at L'Anse aux Meadows. It suggests that the first known transatlantic voyages involved not only exploration but possible personal connections that left a subtle, enduring genetic legacy in Iceland today. As ancient DNA techniques improve, further clues from both sides.

With that in mind, imagine what millions of non-White aliens will do to Europe’s indigenous population. What will Europeans be 1,000 years from today?

The Whitest Countries in the World (Part 2)

Iceland is widely regarded as the “whitest” country on Earth when measured by the percentage of its population of European (White) descent. Its extreme geographic isolation, small population size, and historically low levels of non-European immigration have preserved one of the highest degrees of ethnic homogeneity among modern nations.

Iceland’s Ranking and Demographics

Iceland consistently ranks #1 globally and among European countries for the highest percentage of White/European ethnic population, often estimated at approximately 99.8%.

Official statistics show the population remains highly homogeneous. As of recent estimates, roughly 78–94% of residents identify as ethnic Icelanders of Norse and Celtic (Irish/Scottish) European descent. The remainder consists mostly of other Europeans, particularly Poles and Danes. Non-European immigration has stayed very limited compared to most Western countries.

Top “Whitest” Countries by % White/European Population

Recent informal rankings (focused primarily on Europe) typically list the following:

- Iceland — ~99.8%

- Poland — ~99.7%

- Finland — ~99.6%

- Estonia / Lithuania — ~99.5%

- Latvia — ~99.3%

- Slovakia — ~99.2%

- Hungary — ~99.0%+

These figures are derived from ethnic and nationality data, as most European nations do not officially track “race.” In Northern and Eastern Europe, ethnic/national identity strongly overlaps with European ancestry.

Key Context

“White” in this context refers to people of primarily European ancestry. In highly homogeneous countries like Iceland, this aligns almost completely with the native ethnic population. Iceland’s small population (around 390,000–400,000), remote North Atlantic location, and strict historical immigration patterns have kept its demographics exceptionally uniform.

Outside Europe, countries such as Argentina (around 97% in some estimates) or certain U.S. states (e.g., Vermont ~96%) show relatively high percentages of European descent, but none approach the levels seen in Iceland and the top Eastern/Northern European nations.

Why it matters (Part 3)

When I visited England in 1974, I saw only one non-white person. Today, only 36.8% of London's population is white British with a total white population of 53.8%. Nearly half of the city is non-white. That same year the about 88% of the USA was white. Today, whites comprise 74.8% of America's population with non-Hispanic whites composing 56.3% – 57.5%. In my adult lifetime, I have witnessed the dramatic decline of white populations across Europe and America.

It matters because whites are innovative. Roughly 80 percent of significant inventions throughout history were developed by indigenous Europeans. (Here's a pdf of Charles Murray's book, Human Accomplishment.)

It matters because whites are rugged individualists. Thomas Sowell and Charles Murray frequently discuss how European-derived cultures (especially Anglo-Protestant and Northern European) emphasize individualism, rule of law, work ethic, and personal responsibility more than many other groups. That is, white people are resistant to the "warmth of collectivism." Whites aren't easily herded.
