DailyKenn.com — Like the prodigal son who returned home, MAGA-movement apostates Mitch McConnell and Nikki Haley seem to have discovered that disembarking the Trump train has its consequences. Those consequences are summarized as political suicide.

Both McConnell and Haley apparently were caught up in RINO efforts to derail the Trump train after peaceful protesters barged into the Capitol building January 6th where they were confronted with deadly force.
There was, however, no mass lemming-like exodus as the two seemed to have predicted. Rather, MAGA people saw through the far-left's disingenuous demonizing of patriots (there was no "insurrection") and, rather than bailout when the going got tough, supporters of President Donald Trump dug in their heels. Politicians like McDonnell and Haley were left standing alone in the cold dark tundra of RINOland.
They appear to have seen the errors of their ways. The backlash against the apostates was apparently undeniable and unbearable. Disrn.com, one of DailyKenn.com's top 100 conservative websites, took notice and offered this headline, "Nikki Haley’s criticism of Trump may be backfiring" (by Peter Heck).
Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley's recent criticism of Donald Trump may be costing her support within the Republican Party and larger conservative movement. Haley recently said in an interview that she was "angry" with the way Trump had acted since the election, and that the former president had "let us down."
Bizpacreview.com noted McConnell's contrition with a headline reading, "Mitch McConnell back on the Trump Train after getting a little dose of reality" (by Tom Tillison).
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is “moving forward,” having little interest in discussing events from the past, as he focuses on winning back the Senate in 2022, and it was on that note that the Kentucky Republican raised a lot of eyebrows Thursday.
In an appearance on Fox News, McConnell was asked if he believed former President Donald Trump would be the Republican nominee in 2024, after host Brett Baier ran a clip of Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, begrudgingly admitting that if Trump ran, he would “win in a landslide.”
In responding to the query, the GOP leader acknowledged that he would support the former president if that proved to be the case.
Get a clue, my RINO friends. The patriot movement is energized and in control of the GOP. Efforts by the far-left media, neo-cons, and never-Trumpers to trigger a lemming stampede have not materialized and, likely, never will.
Will the patriot movement give McConnell and Haley a warm welcome back to the pack? Some will. Most won't. The pair along with their ilk seem to lack true contrition. They appear to be attempting to salvage their political careers after miscalculating the solidarity of the patriot movement and the inertness of never-Trumpers.
