DailyKenn.com — 7-month-old Synciere Williams was allegedly killed by a criminal who had been freed on two occasions by the criminal justice system.
26-year-old Joseph Williams is being held on suspicion of murder and assault on a child causing death and other charges.
Williams was released twice within the previous months after the San Francisco district attorney failed to pursue the abuse cases.

Williams had two prior domestic violence arrests this year but was not charged with either incident, both of which involved a woman he was in a relationship with, police said. Officials with the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office said the woman refused to cooperate with the prosecution and told police she had attacked Williams first.
