DailyKenn.com — The National College Athletic Association (NCAA), headquartered in Indianapolis, may refuse to consider states that are "anti-transgender" as sites for it national championships, reports say.
Thirty states are considering legislation to restrict transgenders' participation in government school sports. Males who assume the roles of females, for example, will not be allowed to participate in women's sports.
States are being bullied with tacit threats of lost revenue and costly legal action.
Take aways...
• Gender restrictions already exist as males and females are usually restricted to sports that are gender specific. Special exceptions must be made for those considered 'transgender.'
• Genuine feminists support the restrictions because they prevent males from unfairly competing with females. Once transgender inclusion becomes the norm, the next likely step will be to abolish all gender restrictions.
• Many government schools already allow co-ed physical education classes. Other formerly gender-specific classes, such as shop for boys and home economics for girls, were scuttled long ago.
• Gender confusion exploits identity confusion. It is a foundational component utilized in thought reform. The three-part process is a) unfreeze an individuals sense of identity, b) remold it, and c) re-freeze it.
• Gender confusion transcends schools. Major department stores, for example, no longer have gender-specific toy departments for girls and boys. The same will likely be true for clothing sales.
• Gender delineation has been the norm for generations. It has been the historical precedent in Western nations until recent years.
• The USA was once divided between blue and gray states. It is now being divided between blue and red states.
• We wonder what the NCAA will do if Indiana, a red state, passes gender-realist legislation. Will the organization move its headquarters from Indianapolis to a blue state?
• Gender deniers present as being advocates of inclusion, even as they exclude states that exercise their rights to self determination. "Inclusive" gender deniers tend to be leftists who routinely excludes those who disagree with their views. Sportscaster Thom Brennaman, for example, was dismissed from his position after uttering the word "fag." He was excluded. To our knowledge, no sportscaster has been excluded due to use slurs such as "racist" or "homophobe."
The NCAA Board of Governors on Monday issued a statement saying it "firmly and unequivocally supports the opportunity for transgender student-athletes to compete in college sports. This commitment is grounded in our values of inclusion and fair competition."
"The NCAA has a long-standing policy that provides a more inclusive path for transgender participation in college sports," the statement read. "Our approach — which requires testosterone suppression treatment for transgender women to compete in women's sports—embraces the evolving science on this issue and is anchored in participation policies of both the International Olympic Committee and the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee."
