DailyKenn.com — A 42-year-old drug dealer was fatally shot by police in North Carolina, reports say, prompting some officials to prepare for civil unrest.

Andrew Brown Jr. was shot dead while encountering a number of police officers.

"At the time, deputies were said to be attempting to serve an arrest warrant for felony drug charges. But when a car began to leave the scene, deputies fired at the vehicle," thehill.com reported

Some have called the shooting an execution even before video of the incident has been released to the public.

Take aways ...

• Police incidents ending with the deaths of suspects has long been part of America's crime culture. Only in recent years has the far-left media begun exploiting the phenomenon to reinforce their portrayal of a country rife with "systemic racism."

• Expect police incidents involving the deaths of black males to continue to make headlines for years to come.

Elizabeth City attorney Chantel Cherry-Lassiter was eventually allowed to watch the footage with Brown's relatives.

...

"Let's be clear, this was an execution," Cherry-Lassiter said. "Andrew Brown was in his driveway. The sheriff truck blocked him in his driveway so he could not exit his driveway. Andrew had his hands on his steering wheel. He was not reaching for anything. He wasn't touching anything. He wasn't throwing anything around. He had his hands firmly on the steering wheel."
