DailyKenn.com — The social justice warrior profession can be profitable for some.

Take Patrisse Khan-Cullors for example.

Reports say the co-founder of Black Lives Matter is moving into a $1.4-million> home in the tony Topanga Canyon neighborhood in Los Angeles.

That's not to say she has no side hustle to augment her earnings; not to mention added income contributed to the family wealth by her husband.

It is interesting to note, however, that only 0.4 percent of Topanga Canyon's population was black according to the 2010 census. It was 88.2 percent white.

I wonder why Khan-Cullors didn't move into a black neighborhood to support black-owned businesses?

Could she be a MINO — Marxist in name only?

According to forbes.com, there were 25 deaths related to the George Floyd riots in 2020. Divided into $1.4-million, that's $54,000 per death.

But Khan-Cullors may be a rank amateur when it comes to the social justice profession. Vanita Gupta, Joe Biden's choice for associate attorney general, is worth tens of millions, according to abcnews.go.com

"Gupta, a civil rights attorney-turned Justice Department nominee," the report says, "has reported owning between $42 million and $187 million in assets and properties with her spouse in her disclosure report filed to the Office of Government Ethics. She reported earning between $902,000 and $3 million in the past year, the filing shows."

A secluded mini-compound tucked into L.A.’s rustic and semi-remote Topanga Canyon was recently sold for a tad more than $1.4 million to a corporate entity that public records show is controlled by Patrisse Khan-Cullors, 37-year-old social justice visionary and co-founder of the galvanizing and, for some, controversial Black Lives Matter movement.

Kahn-Cullors, a UCLA and USC graduate married about five years ago to social activist (and amateur boxer) Janaya Khan, co-founder of Black Lives Matter Toronto, created the #BlackLivesMatter hashtag in 2013 in response to George Zimmerman’s acquittal in the 2012 shooting of Trayvon Martin.
