DailyKenn.com — The Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) was established in 1971. Other congressional caucuses include two that focus on Hispanic interests, Congressional LGBT Equality Caucus, Congressional Caribbean Caucus, Congressional Caucus on India and Indian Americans, and scores of others that focus on an array of issues. There is, however, no caucus with a focus on European and Western values.

That's not going to change in the near future.

A new caucus promised to focus on "'Anglo-Saxon political traditions' and work toward infrastructure 'that reflects the architectural, engineering and aesthetic value that befits the progeny of European architecture,' according to a document that appears to describe the caucus," cbsnews.com reported.

It was to be called the "America First Caucus" and led by Marjorie Taylor (R-GA) Greene and Paul Gosar (R-AZ).

Taylor, however, said it's not going to happen.

Nick Dyer, Greene's spokesperson, told CNN in an email on Saturday afternoon the Georgia Republican is not "launching anything."

"The Congresswoman wants to make clear that she is not launching anything. This was an early planning proposal and nothing was agreed to or approved," he said in an email to CNN, referring to a flier promoting the caucus, obtained by Punchbowl News, that used inflammatory rhetoric.

He added that "she didn't approve that language and has no plans to launch anything."
