DailyKenn.com — A Toronto City Councillor has called for the images of white males to be removed from Canada's currency.
The apparent virtue signalling comes from Paul Ainslie who is, himself, a white male but has not removed himself from the city council.
The right-leaning tnc.news reports that Ainslie's motion is titled “Diversification of Depictions on Canadian Coins and Bills to better reflect a more Heterogeneous and Inclusive Society.”

• The move is another monument-moving mindset that that seeks to erase Western culture by obscuring it's history.
• Ainslie's motion refers to Canada as a "diverse and multicultural ... nation." In a technical understanding, a nation cannot be diverse and multicultural. The word 'nation' is derived from the Latin term nasci that indicates birth. Consequently, the words natal, native, nativity, agnate (a relative through the male descent or on the father's side only), cognate, innate, nation, etc. are a few of about 87 English terms derived from the Latin word that suggests 'birth' [source].
For example: The Cherokee Nation is properly named because it citizens are related by birth. Canada would better be described as a country rather than nation. However, the Europeans living in Canada could be accurately be described as a nation. As such, people of European descent have the same right to a homogeneous nation as do the Cherokee or Zulu people.
• Ainslie's empathetic concern for the well-being of non-White Canadians is admirable, but not at the expense of the European nation.
“In the pursuit to better reflect a more heterogeneous and inclusive society this Motion speaks to our currency being overrepresented by politicians, most of whom are white and male, underrepresenting persons who have contributed to other fields of great importance to our society,” writes Coun. Ainslie.
“Our currency does not reflect our current multiracial, gender diverse and multicultural reality as a nation.”
