Biden's announcement came via White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki. Even as Psaki spoke gas shortages were plaguing much of the southeast where ransomware hackers disrupted the fuel flow through the Colonial Pipeline.
Effectively, she admitted that the administration looks at each pipeline project individually and isn't making a sweeping policy towards pipelines in general; a dark harbinger of things to come.
