Doug Kantor, age 25, fatally shot in Texas

AbateHate.com — Doug Kantor, age 25, was fatally shot in Austin, Texas.

Arrested were Jeremiah Roshaun Leland James Tabb, age 17, and an unidentified juvenile. 

Reports say Kantor was one of several victims of a mass shooting that wounded 12 and killed two. The media originally to refused to profile the suspects citing the risk of stereotyping. 

Kantor died of his injuries on June 14, 2021.

A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the mass shooting that killed one and injured 13 others in downtown Austin’s Sixth Street over the weekend.

Jeremiah Roshaun Leland James Tabb, 17, was arrested on a suspicion of aggravated assault, according to a release from the Austin Police Department.

Witnesses around the 400 block of 6th Street early Saturday morning described the chaos as the gun shots rang out.

“Everything was totally fine,” witness Matt Perlstein said. “… there were just so many people in the street. And we just heard like, nine — a bunch — gunshots going off. Everyone got on the ground. We couldn’t even comprehend what was going on at the time. It’s still difficult to comprehend.”
