AbateHate.com — Melody Gambetty, age 67, was decapitated in Clarksville, Indiana.
Arrested was 36-year-old Brian Williams.
Reports say Gambetty's decapitated body was discovered when firefighters entered her apartment due to apparent arson. Williams was arrested after police viewed security video of a man with a suitcase in the area about the time of the crime.
Upon investigation of Williams' home, they found the suitcase which contained a bloody handsaw and body parts such as fingers and toes belonging to the victim.
Williams apparently was burglarizing Gambetty's home when the death occurred. Reports say that, earlier, a polite male was canvassing the area claiming to represent a charitable organization.
The crime was discovered July 27, 2021.

A southern Indiana man has been charged with murder after firefighters found a woman's decapitated, mutilated body inside her burning apartment.
Later, cops allegedly found her head in a suitcase and 'human digits' - such as fingers and toes - inside a plastic container at the home of suspect Brian Williams, according to a probable cause affidavit obtained by WDRB.
