Arrested was alleged serial rapists, Kano Brown, age 30.

Kano Brown, 30, who was arrested in May 2020 on a host of charges, including aggravated battery and multiple counts each related to sexual battery and kidnapping, now is charged in the death of 49-year-old Kathleen Black, according to St. Lucie County Sheriff's officials Wednesday.
Sheriff Ken Mascara in a May 27, 2020, media briefing spelled out his belief that Brown attacked and killed Black, but only on Monday was Brown arrested on a first-degree murder charge.

“We believe that Brown picked up Kathleen Black, violently attacked her, killed her and stuffed her body in the trunk of his car,” Mascara has said.
A medical examiner told officials that Black's cause of death was asphyxiation, records show.
