The media seemed to dismiss the alleged attack as a Tik-Tok stunt in which students are challenged to post videos of themselves assaulting teachers. However, such savagery was common long before the advent of the internet, let alone Tik-Tok. It is often perpetrated by individuals with low intelligence, low impulse control, low executive function and low affective empathy.
Racial school segregation ended in Louisiana in 1960 when Ruby Bridges walked into the all-white William J. Frantz Elementary School in New Orleans.
