DailyKenn.com — A nurse was in critical condition after being beaten to the pavement in Los Angeles.
The attack occurred at the city's downtown Union Station, reports say.
"The suspect was described as a Black male in his 40s experiencing homelessness. Police say the suspect is not known to have mental illness, but he did have a police record with multiple violent crimes," according to foxla.com.
The victim was identified as Sandra Shells, a woman in her late 60's or 70's. [source] Ironically, Shells works as an emergency room nurse at County-USC Medical Center where she was taken after the attack.
