DailyKenn.com — Four people on their way from dining at a restaurant in Beverly Grove. Calif. were followed back to their short-term rental property.
As soon as they had exited their vehicle, they were confronted by three armed suspects. The victims were forced to allow the suspects into the rental property during which time one of those victims was pistol whipped.
The assailants made off with goods valued at about $75,000. Stolen items included a high-end watch, a Mercedes key fob, phones, money and designer clothing.
Two were arrested after one of the assailants checked into a hospital due to gunshot wounds. "Investigators determined he was accidentally shot by another one of the suspects as they were unloading the stolen items from a vehicle," Fox News reported.
