DailyKenn.com — Yes, you can — and should — be both a race realist and anti-racist if you are White.

As a White person I find real racism to be both repulsive and irrational. I also find the denial of reality to be equally repulsive and irrational.

Unfortunately, there are those who attempt to gaslight White realists by convincing them that their realism is racism.

So, what is gaslighting?

According to an article at psychologytoday.com

Gaslighting is an insidious form of manipulation and psychological control. Victims of gaslighting are deliberately and systematically fed false information that leads them to question what they know to be true, often about themselves.

White people who acknowledge race realism are, again, often accused of racism. The accusation is "an insidious form of manipulation and psychological control." As victims of gaslighting, White realists "are deliberately and systematically fed false information that leads them to question what they know to be true, often about themselves."

Gaslighters also accuse Black realists of being 'Uncle Toms.'

We wonder how many of these gaslighters will continue to live in their pristine White neighborhoods after those areas turn into a third-world hell holes. We expect them to relocate. Why? Because in their heart-of-hearts they race realists.
