DailyKenn.com — Cameron Paul Daffron, 16, was fatally shot in Leeds, Alabama.
Two juveniles were arrested but not identified, apparently in compliance with Alabama law.
Police were drawn to the scene by a shot spotter alert. Alerts are activated when small microphones, commonly placed in urban jungles, detect the sound of gunfire.

In april 2017 Kori Ali Muhammad, a black supremacist, decided he wanted to shoot as many white men as he could.
Fresno police officer Bill Dooley describes what happened "He comes up to the the passenger side where the the first victim is, lifts up his weapon and fires four shots, and kills our first victim. This is when our very first shot spotter
activation comes out."
Muhammad went on to kill two other people in the space of 90 seconds although there were plenty of 9-1-1 calls. They were delayed and unspecific. Shot spotter, however, was alerting police to his route one shot at a time. Police identified where he was going and arrested him.
