Couple murdered for their 50th wedding anniversary

DailyKenn.com — Jill and Bruno D'Amore were fatally stabbed in Newton, MA. The elderly couple was set to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple's ages were 73 and 74 respectively.

Also killed was Jill D'Amore's 97-year-old mother, Lucia Arpino.

Arrested was Christopher Ferguson, 41.

Police believe the attack was random, reports say, even though Ferguson was a neighbor who lived nearby.

Authorities say Ferguson was found barefoot and shirtless, his bloody footprints leading to his arrest.

"The D'Amore's were set to renew their wedding vows at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Sunday for their 50th wedding anniversary," dailymail.co.uk reported.
