DailyKenn.com — 34-year-old Eina Kwon, a pregnant woman, was fatally shot in Seattle, WA while stopped at a traffic light.
30-year-old Cordell Maurice Goosby "has been charged with first-degree murder and first-degree attempted murder. He could also possibly be charged for the death of the unborn child, since she was delivered alive and died a short time after," fox29.com reported.
37-year-old Evan Sung Kwon, the victim's husband, was injured by gunfire, but survived.
The execution of Kwon, who is of East Asian descent, was reportedly random and without provocation.
Goosby reportedly confessed to the crime, saying, "I did it. I did it."
Another pregnant woman, 22-year-old Samya Gill, was fatally shot in the crime-ridden streets of Washington, DC days earlier. The baby in that incident survived [source].
Allowing individuals with low intellect and impaired impulse control to operate motor vehicles on public thoroughfares seems ill-advised.
