Retired police chief killed in hit-and-run

DailyKenn.com — Andreas Probst, a 64-year-old retired police chief, died in a hit-and-run incident in Las Vegas, NV.

Two non-white teenage males were arrested.

Probst was struck while riding his bicycle in a designated bike lane.

The context of the video seems to suggest the driver hit the bicyclist intentionally.

"Jesus Ayala, 18, the accused driver, who was 17 at the time of the alleged crime spree, was facing 18 charges including murder, attempted murder, battery with the use of a deadly weapon, leaving the scene of an accident, and numerous larceny and burglary charges, records showed," according to 8newsnow.com.

Jzamir Keys, 16, who police identified as the passenger in the vehicle, was facing murder, attempted murder and battery charges.

The media made no mention of race.
