Emmanuel Campbell, 25, was arrested.
The Mobile County Sheriff's Office said "Campbell was in a 'domestic violence altercation' with his child’s mother," according to wkrg.com.
When the mother's family members came to the victim's aid, Campbell reportedly opened fire, striking Bahm in the chest.
"Campbell was charged with murder, third-degree domestic violence and second-degree possession of marijuana," the report said.
Reports dis not disclose how Bahm and "the child's mother" were related.
