Indira Zink, 25, was arrested.
Austin police responded to a welfare call at a hotel on February 21, where they found St. John with a stab wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
St. John was a prominent figure in the Providence, RI punk rock scene of the 1990s. After nearly two decades of living in Texas, St. John had plans to move back to Rhode Island.
