DailyKenn.com — White House occupant Joe Biden is escalating the border crisis by providing uninvited guests free ID cards.

A U.S. federal agency is set to implement the new initiative this summer ostensibly to streamle the invasion of migrants who enter the country illegally.

The measure implicitly flashes a green light to non-citizens who may be considering entering the country illegally.

After experiencing consecutive years of record-breaking illegal immigration, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is preparing to launch the ICE Secure Docket Card program. The agency claims this program will modernize the documentation process for immigrant removal proceedings, which has long been a challenge.

Critics fear the free IDs will give woke politicians another excuse to allow illegal aliens access to voting alongside legal citizens.

According to reports, the program will kick off this summer with the distribution of approximately 10,000 ID cards. ICE has claims that the goal of the program is to modernize documentation for some non-citizens, but emphasized that these cards will not serve as official federal identification.

But some see the program as a camel's nose; a metaphor for a small, seemingly innocuous action that will open floodgates for larger, undesirable actions. Recall the DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) program was promised to be a temporary fix when proposed by Barack Obama.

An ICE spokesperson clarified, "While the specifics of the card and pilot are under development, it is important to note the secure card will not be an official form of federal identification. The secure card will indicate it is for use by DHS agencies and would be provided only after national security background checks have been performed."

Federal officials have expressed concerns about the current documentation process for migrants crossing into the U.S. Typically, migrants are provided with paperwork detailing their asylum claims or immigration status upon release into the U.S. ICE officials argue that this paperwork poses security risks as it can easily be lost or damaged while migrants travel throughout the country.

Eventually, there will likely be identification chips implanted in all humans, making such ID cards moot.

ICE believes that the introduction of plastic ID cards will enhance efficiency in this process and streamline identification procedures for the agency. A DHS spokesperson stated, "Moving to a secure card will save the agency millions, free up resources, and ensure information is quickly accessible to DHS officials while reducing the agency's FOIA backlog. For provisionally released non-citizens, the digital modernization will provide ongoing access to important immigration documents through the secure card and connected portal."

The program has sparked criticism from some lawmakers. Rep. Aaron Bean of Florida criticized the initiative, stating, "Instead of focusing time, energy, & taxpayer dollars on plugging the holes in our Southern border, the Biden Admin is getting ready to give out 'migrant ID' cards to illegal aliens, making it easier for them to take advantage of American citizens."

Similarly, Sen. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee expressed concern, saying, "ICE wants to start distributing ID cards to illegals this summer. More evidence of Biden trying to make illegal legal."

The exact timeline for the rollout of the ID program this summer remains unclear, as officials from ICE and DHS did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Meanwhile, a measure has been introduced in the House that would prevent illegal migrants from voting in U.S. elections by requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote. This bill, supported by Rep. Chip Roy of Texas and Sen. Mike Lee of Utah, aims to address concerns about the impact of illegal immigration on elections.

In addition, the House recently passed a measure that would add a citizenship question to the U.S. census to prevent illegal immigrants from influencing the allocation of Congressional districts and electoral votes. Rep. Chuck Edwards of Illinois, who introduced the bill, emphasized the importance of ensuring that only American citizens have a say in determining the direction of the country.
