Nelson Beckett, 90, was fatally during a Houston, TX carjacking.
21-year-old Kyliel Denzel Arceneaux was charged with capital murder.

Police
responded to a call about an assault in progress involving a weapon.
They found Beckett lying in the parking lot with gunshot wounds.
Beckett was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According
to the preliminary investigation, a man assaulted Beckett, shot him,
and then stole his vehicle and belongings. Police also revealed that the
suspect ran over Beckett while fleeing the scene.
Arceneaux was
arrested on Tuesday and charged with capital murder, two counts of

Zeppelin Phillips, 16, was fatally shot in Hermitage, TN.
Homicide detectives have charged 18-year-old Raphael Jobehdari with the murder.
Police
found Phillips lying in the road near his home, suffering from gunshot
wounds. He was rushed to Vanderbilt Hospital, where he later died.
Jobehdari
was identified as a suspect after detectives discovered Phillips had
been in communication with him about purchasing a gun and had sent him
money. SWAT officers assisted in executing a search warrant at
Jobehdari’s residence. The vehicle that Phillips had approached just
before being shot was found at the residence and has been impounded.
Three firearms were seized during the search.

The suspect has been identified as 23-year-old Chad Richards.
Police reported that Richards and Welsh were acquainted and had an altercation prior to the shooting.
Shortly

Margaret Miller Johnson, 64, was fatally shot in Forest Park, IL.
Rhanni S. Davis, 30, was charged with four counts of first-degree murder.
Davis is accused of fatally shooting four train passengers, including Johnson.
The
shootings took place in the early morning across two train cars, with
three victims shot in one car and the fourth in another. A total of six
rounds were fired, according to police.
Prosecutors detailed the
evidence, stating that Davis shot one victim twice in the head and back,
another in the face and arm, and a third in the back of the head. Davis
then moved to the next train car, where he allegedly approached the
fourth victim from behind. The victim raised their hands defensively
before Davis fired, prosecutors said.
Prosecutors also
highlighted Davis' prior criminal history, which includes a disorderly
conduct charge from 2020 and two previous arrests that were later

75-year-old Marilyn Gallagher was fatally beaten in Camarillo, CA.
Alvin Otis Johnson, 42, was arrested.
Johnson is accused of fatally stabbing 33-year-old Ricardo Juarez in Juarez's vehicle around 1 p.m. on Thursday.
Four
hours later, Johnson allegedly killed 75-year-old Marilyn Gallagher at a
home in Camarillo. She suffered severe head trauma. Although detectives
initially did not specify how she died, it is now revealed that Johnson
allegedly used a firearm to beat her to death.
In addition to the murder charges, Johnson is accused of using the same firearm to assault two other individuals.

Isaac Hardin, 20, is charged with first-degree murder, attempted
first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill
inflicting serious bodily injury, and discharging a firearm within an
enclosure to incite fear.

Alan David Whitworth, 48, was fatally shot in Phoenix, AZ.
31-year-old Marquea Cato was arrested.
Whitworth
and 19-year-old Jamal Avery were shot at a construction site. Whitworth
died at the scene from his injuries, while Avery was transported to the
hospital in critical condition.
Avery’s wife witnessed the
shooting. She stated that an argument broke out between Cato and the two
workers. Cato reportedly left but returned within minutes armed with a
gun, at which point both men were shot multiple times.
"Alan stepped in between them, and the gun was pointed at them. Alan tried to fight for it," she recalled.
Witnesses
reported that the workers had been repairing a fence when the shooting
occurred. Avery’s wife, along with other witnesses, saw Cato calmly walk
away from the scene after the shooting.
"He didn’t run or jog. He just walked away as if nothing had happened," one witness stated. [source]
44-year-old Lisa Finan was killed in Columbus, GA.
Jaquavion Daise, 17, faces charges of second-degree vehicular homicide and riding a bicycle on the sidewalk.
Finan was fatally struck by an electric bicycle on the Dillingham Street Bridge.
