When the human brain's front lobe is dysfunctional due to trauma or genetics, the person may experience repressed executive function expressed through violence.

• Frontal regions of the brains of those who are intoxicated is an example. It is affected by alcohol causing some people to become violent.

Damage to the frontal lobe can also result in aggressive behavior as demonstrated in 1848 when railroad worker Phineas Gage survived after a blast propelled a spike to penetrate his frontal lobe.

It is reasonable to believe individuals who are inherently violent may be the victim's of natural impairment or dysfunction of front lobe regions resulting in suppressed executive function and, consequently, low impulse control and a propensity for violent behavior. If the disorder is genetic, it could explain why group members sharing obvious similar traits that make them immediately recognizable as a member of the group would also share a propensity for violent behavior. When such excessive violence is observed in their neighborhoods globally, it is almost certain that their elevated rates of low executive function and impulse control is genetic.

• Savage violence that has persisted for generations is why we avoid their neighborhoods.

• Savage violence that has persisted for generations is why many don't want them in their neighborhoods.

The boy, whose identity was not released, was found shirtless and shoeless in the 7500 block of Saddleridge Drive around 7 a.m. Saturday with multiple wounds from “an edged weapon,” police said. Police said he probably died before 5 a.m.

Antwainese Square, 39, said she was jogging around the neighborhood when she saw the boy’s body. She initially thought it was a dog before seeing the toddler’s arms and legs.

“That’s when I noticed the baby had ants at the bottom of his feet. So I knew he was deceased then,” Square said. “It was heart-wrenching because this baby could have been no more than 5.”
