AbateHate.com — Candace Rose Samples, age 20, was fatally stabbed in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Arrested was Kidus Yohannes, age 34.
Reports say the young homeless woman was stabbed behind a Dollar Tree store in 2018.
Yohannes had been questioned and released shortly after the incident but was not arrested until July, 2021.
Salt Lake City police announced an arrest has been made in the fatal stabbing of a woman that happened in 2018.
Kidus Yohannes, 34, was arrested for the 2018 murder of 20-year-old Candace Samples.
"Homicide investigations are sometimes long and complicated but we never rest, and cases are never 'cold'," they said in the tweeted announcement.
