The attacker, who appears to be in his late teens or early twenties, is seen in a video running up behind his victim and punching her in the head. The woman was not identified by the media and was hospitalized after the assault.

When I attended a majority-black high school 50 years ago, such attacks were extremely common. One learned very quickly to be aware of surroundings and to avoid those who looked like the male in the photo above.
