DailyKenn.com — 49-year-old Jeffrey Chapman was beaten to death with a tire iron in Clearwater, FL. 

Jermaine Adrian Bennett was arrested. 

Reports say Bennett showed no remorse after allegedly killing Chapman, saying the “ills of society had gotten to him.” 

Deputy Police Chief Michael Walek reported said, “I want to make it clear that this was a totally random act. The victim was not targeted. It was a chance encounter that turned deadly while the victim was simply trying to ride his bike home.”

Commentators suggested the victim was in the wrong place at the wrong time compelling us to wonder: What is the correct place and time for White people?

Clearwater is comprised of a population that is 76.6 percent White and 11.9 percent Black, about the same as the country as a whole [source].
