DailyKenn.com — 63-year-old Larry Walker died, having been dragged on the street for more than two miles before he was dislodged from his vehicle, police said. Walker, the victim of a carjacking, was entangled in a seat belt.

According to nbclosangeles.com:

Tina Atkins, who was picking up her children at an after-school program, described a horrifying scene.

"We just saw a car coming straight at us with a dead body hanging out of the bottom," Atkins said. "I hopped the curb with my kids in the car because I didn't want them to hit me.

Arrested was the alleged driver, Joshua Reneau, 31.

Reneau was wanted in connection with the July 29 murder of Earl Hunter. Hunter was shot by a security guard during a robbery allegedly involving Reneau and others.

While guns are a primary weapon of choice in America's urban jungles, they are not the cause of the ongoing crime epidemic. Even without firearms, those with low intelligence, low executive function, low affective empathy, and low impulse control will continue to cause harm.
