DailyKenn.com — Lonnie Alford Ray, 76, was gunned down in a KFC parking lot while meeting prospective buyers of a French bulldog in Bishopville, South Carolina.
Arrested were Michael Dinkins, 40, and Byron Miller, 32.
French bulldogs fetch a price of $3,500 to $30,000, according to tomkingskennel.com.
"The man who shot and wounded Lady Gaga's dog walker while stealing her French bulldogs [in 2021] took a plea deal and was sentenced to 21 years in prison...," according to npr.org.
