DailyKenn.com — Jimmie E. Johnson III, 42, was fatally shot in Springfield, Missouri after reportedly stealing a red bag.
Arrested were Ronald L. Curnow, 23, and Payne R. Morse, 22.
Reports say Johnson took items belonging to Curnow while the two were at a tobacco and liquor store. After retrieving a gun, Curnow and Morse reportedly searched for Johnson with the intention of recovering stolen property leading to the fatal shooting.
According to ozarksfirst.com,
"Curnow has been charged with first-degree murder, unlawful possession of a firearm and armed criminal action.
"Morse has been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution."
