DailyKenn.com — Still known as one of America's premier small cities, the dark clouds of urban-jungle violence is encroaching upon Columbus, Indiana.
Two black males — Edmarius Oats and Alexander Parker, both 18 — were taken into custody after an apparent drive-by shooting in the city's Lincoln Park.
The park is adjacent to the Columbus Regional Hospital's facility but the four victims were taken to Indianapolis-area hospitals; three in critical condition, reports say.
Columbus, hometown of former US Vice President Mike Pence, has a population that is 2.1 percent black, according to census.gov.
The city is known as the Athens of the Prairie for its stunning architecture and avoidance of racial strife.
North of Columbus is Whiteland, Indiana which literally lived up to its name. Last year, however, urban-jungle violence shook the small town when Temario Stokes Jr. was fatally shot at a school bus stop. Arrested was 18-year-old Tyrique Sevin Radford El. Both the 16-year-old victim and suspect are black.

And Greenwood? The conservative white city that borders Indianapolis got a taste of urban jungle violence when Jason "Jaybird" Todd Grider, age 48, was fatally shot after an "altercation" with four black males in an apartment complex parking lot [source].
Meanwhile, white Americans continue allowing themselves to be victimized by white guilt, a form of psychological manipulation called 'gaslighting'.
According to Psychology Today, "Gaslighting [aka, white guilt] is an insidious form of manipulation and psychological control. Victims of gaslighting are deliberately and systematically fed false information that leads them to question what they know to be true, often about themselves. They may end up doubting their memory, their perception, and even their sanity. Over time, a gaslighter’s manipulations can grow more complex and potent, making it increasingly difficult for the victim to see the truth."
