How Islam is infecting American culture and government

America has cultural infectious epidemics that far outweigh the threat of COVID and it's various iterations. Besides the black crime epidemic, America is also infected with the Islam virus. Its effects have been seen in a number of fraudulent abuse of government programs, the implementation of de facto sharia law in households, and an incursion of Muslims in public office.

America's founders embraced the Christian faith in some form. That faith directly influenced the moral code seen in our laws. Still, these God-fearing, Bible-thumping, whiskey-drinking church people built a republic that deliberately kept a specific religious organization from controlling the government. They had watched European monarchs and churches intertwine power, and they rejected that model.

Now we are faced with—not only separation of church and state—but separation of mosque and state. That poses a problem because Islam's sharia law is the antitheses of the American model in that Islamic law and civil law are one and the same.

Documented Family Killings, 2008–2012

High-profile family killings between 2008 and 2012 revealed the contrast between Islamic tradition and civil law. I call this de facto sharia law in households. Here are five horrifying examples.

On Jan. 1, 2008, in Irving, Texas, Yaser Abdel Said shot and killed his teenage daughters, Amina and Sarah. Investigators and family members described the motive as the girls’ independent dating choices and resistance to traditional expectations. Said fled and remained at large for more than twelve years until his arrest in 2020. In 2022 a jury convicted him of capital murder and imposed a sentence of life without parole [source].

Later that year, on July 6, 2008, in Clayton County, Georgia, Chaudhry Rashid strangled his 25-year-old daughter, Sandeela Kanwal. Court testimony established that he acted after she moved to end an arranged marriage he considered binding. A jury convicted him of malice murder; Georgia’s Supreme Court later affirmed the life sentence [soruce].

On Feb. 12, 2009, in Orchard Park, New York, Muzzammil Hassan beheaded his wife, Aasiya Zubair, inside the television studio the couple had operated. She had recently filed for divorce. Hassan was convicted of second-degree murder and received a term of 25 years to life [source].

In Peoria, Arizona, on Oct. 20, 2009, Faleh Hassan Almaleki deliberately struck his 20-year-old daughter, Noor, with a vehicle. She died of her injuries on Nov. 2. Prosecutors presented evidence that he opposed her independent lifestyle and contacts outside the family’s traditional circle. A jury convicted him of second-degree murder, and the court sentenced him to more than 34 years [source].

In the Houston area of Texas in 2012, Ali Irsan was later convicted of capital murder for orchestrating the deaths of his daughter’s friend, Gelareh Bagherzadeh, on Jan. 15 and his son-in-law, Coty Beavers, on Nov. 12. Prosecutors argued the killings stemmed from the daughter’s departure from the family and her marriage to a Christian. Irsan received a death sentence [source].

Granted, these cases remain statistically uncommon, yet each illustrates a conflict between Islamic notions of family honor and the individual rights protected by American law. Courts treated them as ordinary criminal matters rather than religious doctrine, reinforcing the principle that civil statutes take precedence.

Scrutiny of Advocacy Organizations

Advocacy organizations have drawn separate scrutiny. Federal prosecutors listed the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) among hundreds of unindicted co-conspirators in the 2008 Holy Land Foundation trial. That case produced convictions of foundation leaders for providing material support to Hamas. One defendant had earlier helped establish CAIR’s Texas chapter. CAIR itself was never charged or convicted, and the federal government has not placed the organization on any terrorist list. The group continues to describe its mission as civil-rights advocacy and states that it rejects violence. Two states, Florida and Texas, have designated CAIR a terrorist organization.

Growth in Political Participation

As America continues to welcome and embrace Muslim immigrants under large-scale suicidal empathy, the consequences are a growing political influence of Islam within government institutions. The cohesion of a government built on Christian values will fragment as Islamic influence introduces competing legal and philosophical frameworks, creating a dualistic conflict with traditional Western ideals.

Muslim Americans have expanded their participation in elective office. U.S. Reps. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan have served multiple terms. Broader tracking by advocacy organizations shows steady growth in the number of Muslim candidates elected to state legislatures, city councils, school boards and other local posts across numerous states. Recent cycles have produced additional statewide and municipal victories, reflecting both demographic change and organized civic engagement.

When I asked Google how many Muslims currently held elected office in the USA, it rendered this response: "An estimated 230 to over 250 Muslim Americans hold elected public office across the United States, spanning federal, state, and local government positions. A growing number of US Muslims run for political office in 2026 amid an upward trend in civic participation."

The significance of posterity

The combination of these developments raises practical questions for our constitutional system. How do communities maintain distinctive religious practices while accepting that secular law governs public conduct? Does increased political representation accelerate integration (infection) into broader American norms, or can parallel institutions compromise that process? Short answer: No, they can't. Granted, earlier waves of immigration posed similar tests; outcomes improved when newcomers and existing residents both adapted. Those immigrants, however, were white Europeans with the same foundational values as Americans.

Combine iron, nickel, cobalt, and molybdenum in a melting pot, and the result is maraging steel. Throw in a bit of mud, butter, and a few dead chickens, and the melting pot is useless. Likewise, combine Britons, Irishmen, Germans, Frenchmen, Italians and Poles, and you get cultural steel. Throw in Muslims, Pakistanis, and Haitians, and the melting pot is compromised.

The founders left no detailed blueprint for future demographic shifts. They didn't anticipate it. The preamble to the Constitution states that the union was formed for "...ourselves and our Posterity".

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

Etymonline defines posterity as "a person's offspring, descendants collectively." Although the term "white supremacy" has been vilified by the woke left, it was first used by abolitionist T.S. Winn in his 1824 tract Emancipation; or Practical advice to British slave-holders.

The founders left a framework that provides individual liberty, equal protection and the supremacy of civil authority for their posterity...that's us and our posterity. Consequently, our ancestors built the greatest culture in history and the advancements continue, though often encumbered by DEI and "affirmative action" initiatives. Still, we have an obligation to stick to the script. Islam has no role.
