A 17-year-old Franklin High School senior died after going over a fourth-floor railing following an apparent beating by a black student in Highland Park, California.

Family members identified the teenager as Xavier Nungarary.

The incident happened shortly after 1 p.m. During the hours that followed, video from inside the school began circulating online. The footage appears to show Xavier being pummeled by another student inside a classroom. A teacher moved between the students as the situation became physical, and Xavier was punched.

What happened next is central to the ongoing investigation.

After leaving the classroom, Xavier moved through the school and ultimately went over a railing on the fourth floor, falling into the school’s quad below. Emergency personnel responded, and Xavier was taken for medical treatment. He later died from his injuries.

An image showing Xavier’s fatal fall also appears to capture another student in the foreground who may be the same person seen allegedly attacking him moments earlier, raising questions about whether Xavier was being pursued.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. Police have said they found no evidence of foul play, while investigators are reviewing available video and other information to determine exactly what led to the fall.

For Xavier's family, the events leading up to his death raise painful questions about what happened inside the classroom and in the moments immediately afterward.

Family members have said Xavier had experienced bullying during high school. They described him as someone who was reluctant to speak up about what he was experiencing and said the confrontation left him frightened and panicked.

Children who experience bullying may feel ashamed or embarrassed to speak about what they are going through, even with their parents or trusted adults.

Those claims about earlier bullying have not been independently established by police, and authorities have not said whether any previous incidents are part of the current investigation.

The case remains open as investigators work to establish a complete timeline. The available video provides only part of that picture, and officials have not publicly determined exactly what Xavier was thinking or intending immediately before he went over the railing.

For now, the known facts begin with a classroom "confrontation" and end with the death of a 17-year-old who was weeks into his final year of high school. His surname has also been reported as Xavier Nungaray. Some relatives have used the surname Amaya

Take away

The woke left treats bullying as a crisis when the target is homosexual or "transgender."

When the attacker is black and the victim is not, bullying is ignored. It cuts against the claim that blacks are always the victims, so it gets minimized, renamed, or left out of the story.
