DailyKenn.com — A 70-year-old woman of Mexican descent was brutally attacked on a Los Angeles Metro bus because she is "Asian."

The attacker, described as a black woman, reportedly hurled Sinophobic slurs at the victim before the brutal beating.

Reports say the woman was dragged from the back to the front of the bus. No one intervened, including the bus driver. The attack apparently ended when an onlooker phone 911.

Take aways...

• The far-left mantra, "Diversity is our strength," doesn't seem to apply. We wonder why the black woman hates East Asians and why the attacker thought the Mexican was East Asian.

• Which is correct? The leftist notion that "diversity is our strength" or the biblical perspective that "a house divided cannot stand."

• The far-left's vision of a utopian society in one in which mass transportation replaces automobiles. In reality, mass transit exposes us to a plethora of dangerous people.

The victim’s face and eyes were left swollen, her nose was broken, hair was pulled out of her head and she suffered a concussion, according to her son, who identified himself as Pete. He provided photos of the injured woman to The Eastsider.

Another passenger -- who was described as a Black woman age 25 to 30 -- called the elderly woman a racial epithet that has been applied to people of Chinese descent. The victim is in fact Mexican-American. She and her family - longtime residents of Highland Park - are often mistaken for Asian, her son said.

The victim was attacked and injured by the other passenger and was ultimately dragged from the back of the bus to the front, according to her son.

“Nobody would help. Not even the bus driver,” Pete said.

The attack only ended when a passenger called 911.

The suspect was later arrested on another bus after police issued a bulletin, Pete said.
