DailyKenn.com — In an article subtitled, Recent studies find conservatives treat others more equally than liberals, Psychology Today confirmed what casual observation already reveals.

Nearly all of us often interact with leftists (the term 'liberal' is a misnomer). In so doing we observe a haughty undertone and a hubris overtone. In short, leftists can be flat-out arrogant.
They tend to imagine themselves champions of the downtrodden and express overtures of outrage at the slightest hint of contradiction. But are they as egalitarian as they imagine?
Studies say, "No!"
According to Psychology Today, "So, consistent with liberals’ self-reported support for equality, do they treat people and groups more equally than conservatives? Several recent studies over the past few years cast doubt on this proposition."
In fact, it appears that the left is moving away from equality to another domain they term equity. While equality is color blind, equity intentionally discriminates, taking into account disadvantages they imagine were imposed on one group.
A people group that was unequally disciplined in school, for example, may find difficulty when seeking employment later in life due to their track record. Leftists call this outcome, disparate impact. To compensate, the disciplined group is pushed to the front of the line requiring intentional discrimination and purposeful inequality.
The fact that the group who behaved in school are effectively being punished for their good behavior has no weight in leftist thinking. And the fact that bad choices lead to negative outcomes later in life also has no bearing. Leftists attribute those bad decisions to social injustices.
In short, Marxism's objective is that all be equal at the finish line. To achieve that outcome, inequality is imposed during the race. To be fair, they must be unfair. To achieve equality, inequality must be imposed. That is the essence of equity.
But even equity is an expression of leftism's narcissism. This is made evident in the observation that leftist impose their agenda on others, but not themselves.
Wealthy leftists tend to gravitate towards tony communities that tend to be overwhelmingly white. It's just one of many manifestations of arrogance and hypocrisy. Equity is for everyone else.
• Malibu, California, for example, is largely populated by the leftist elite.
• The Obama's found themselves a magnificent ocean side spread in Martha's Vineyard, far removed from impoverished black masses of Marxist lore.
• More recently, Patrisse Khan-Cullors of Black Lives Matter fame reportedly secured a $1.4-million home in the Los Angeles community of Topanga Canyon; an overwhelming white area with a black population of only 0.4 percent, according to the 2010 census.
• Vanity Fair reported that Robert De Niro (who notoriously shouted "f*** Trump" at the 2018 Tony Awards [source]), pays $125,000 rent per month for his aparment. We're guessing he doesn't live among the downtrodden, though nothing short of a lease agreement or a home owners' association is stopping him from stuffing his crib with "immigrants."
• And it's not limited to the rich and famous. Leftists are often found insulated in safe and tidy white middle-class neighborhoods across the nation.
Living in upscale communities is not the problem. Hypocrisy is the problem. Narcissism is the problem.

Recent experiments and quasi-experiments of this kind suggest that, at least sometimes, it is liberals who tend to treat information and people more unequally on the basis of sex, race, and group status.
Evaluations that favor or disfavor some groups
For example, two sets of studies by two different research teams found that participants evaluated science on sex differences more favorably when women were portrayed more favorably than men (as better drawers and less prone to lying and as more intelligent) than when men were portrayed more favorably than women. In both of these sets of studies, these tendencies were stronger as participants were more politically liberal.
Similarly, in a more naturalistic study on Twitter, liberals were more likely to amplify the successes of female and Black athletes than male and White athletes, whereas conservatives treated the successes of groups more similarly. In another set of studies, White liberals presented less self-competence to Black than White interaction partners, whereas White conservatives treated Black and White interaction partners more similarly. And in another set, liberals had stronger desires to censor passages that portrayed low-status groups unfavorably than identical passages that portrayed high-status groups unfavorably, whereas conservatives treated the passages more comparably.
