AbateHate.com — Justin Jackson, age 33, was fatally shot in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Police are searching for one of two suspects. The other suspect, identified as James Edward Corbett, was dumped off at a hospital. He had died from gunshot wounds.
Reports say Jackson was shot when home invaders burst into the family home and opened fire. Jackson was fatally shot and his teenage daughter was hospitalized with a leg injury. Jackson leaves behind several small children, reports say. A family friend returned fire, apparently striking Corbett.
The incident apparently occurred June 2, 2021.

[Wife Devin Jackson] was inside shielding two of the couple's children when her husband and 17-year-old stepdaughter, Mahailey Jackson, were shot. A family friend who was visiting returned fire, she said.
Jackson died at the scene, according to police. Mahailey suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and is recovering.
About an hour after the killing, James Corbett, 33, was dropped off at a Hoke County hospital with a fatal gunshot wound.
