Teens walk onto the campus and the brawling begins. 

Places to avoid are stairwells, restrooms, and the school cafeteria. Some places can't be avoided, such as classrooms and hallways. 

• Sept 6 ► "Disturbing Video of Rich South High School Fight Prompts Calls for Action," the headline reads. [source]


Sept 13 ► 3 teens were arrested after a brawl broke out at DeKalb County high school in Georgia. [source]

• Sept 14 ► Pittsburgh police responded to a large fight involving Carrick High School students. [source]  

• Sept 15 ► A huge fight erupted after a football game in Italy, Texas. [source]

• Aug 24 ► 12 juveniles were charged after large fight at Andrews High School in South Carolina. [source]

But why limit the slug fests to schools?

• Sept 11 ► Pepper spray was used to quell a fight at an Indianapolis funeral home. [source]

• Sept 3 ► "They mobbin' on the cops," explained a man heard on the video filmed outside a theater in one of three Michigan locations where thousands of teens gathered for $3-movies. [source]


• And, of course, there's the inevitable Chuck E. Cheese brawl bound to occur somewhere near an urban jungle. [source]

What do these large fights have in common?

The instigators seem to have:

1. Low intelligence

2. Low impulse control

3. Low executive function

4. Low affective empathy
